Long Beach has been known for its NFL products since Roy “Bullet” Baker signed with the New York Yankees NFL squad in 1926. This week looks like it may be a historic one, with 10 area athletes entered into the NFL Draft, which will be held Thursday through Saturday.

Smith-Schuster’s alma mater could add to its already nation-leading NFL alumni list, as five Poly players are on the board.
