Summit High School
Terrell had 22 points, including 15 in the fourth quarter on a perfect 3-of-3 shooting from the field and 7-of-7 from the free throw line for his highest point total in league play this season in a 59-50 win over Kaiser.
Diamond Ranch High School
Silva had a huge week, as did the Panthers, winning three games thanks to his huge performances. Silva scored 21 in a big league win over Los Altos and followed it with 26 in a win over West Covina. The Panthers also got a win over El Camino in a nonleague game and Silva delivered 19 points in that one.
Showing aplomb and poise beyond his years in the face of Crespi’s raucous “Cabana” Student Section, Stanley hit a 3-pointer, a tough runner at a free throw to help Harvard-Westlake score the game’s final 14 points in a 74-66 victory that snapped Crespi’s 21-game winning streak.
Los Alamitos High School
Worku dropped a game-high 31 points Friday night in hostile territory on the road against rival Edison (18-5, 4-2 Sunset League) en route to a 56-54 victory for the Griffins (19-3, 6-0).
Inglewood High School
He led Inglewood to an upset of Redondo last Friday, tallying 13 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks in the 59-55 win. It was the first Bay League loss of the season for Redondo. Bell also added 21 points and 10 rebounds in a 72-48 victory over Inglewood.
Arrowhead Christian Academy
The boys soccer standouts had his best week of the season with four goals in two Ambassador League games, including a huge game-winner against Ontario Christian.
