Arcadia Invitational ready for another stellar lineup of high school standouts

Hand of runner at starting blocks

Many of the top athletes from throughout the United States will descend on Arcadia High this week for the 51st edition of the Arcadia Invitational. The two-day event reaches its zenith on Saturday night with the running of the seeded and invitational events.

Recent athletes that participated at the Arcadia Invite used it as a springboard to state championships, such as Vista Murrieta’s Michael Norman, Chaminade’s T.J. Brock, Damien’s Zachary Shinnick, Agoura’s Tara Davis and Simi Valley’s Sarah Baxter, who all had stellar prep careers.

This year’s meet brings together all of the top relay teams in the state along with 26 of the 28 state-leaders in individual events.
