RECAP

Despite so many teams taking their BYEs in Week 5, Calabasas and Valencia undoubtedly served up a great game on Friday night. In fact, SCPL-ranked No. 10 Calabasas was trailing the Vikings at halftime 21-16, but rallied in the second half behind a 512-yard passing performance from QB Tristan Gebbia.

The Coyotes second half surge came without Army All-American Darnay Holmes after suffering a shoulder injury earlier in the game. Brendan Radley-Hiles caught six passes after halftime for 90 yards, including a 19-yard touchdown, before leaving with a shoulder injury himself.

Valencia’s running back Moses Haynes rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown, while QB Aaron Thomas threw for a touchdown.
