Jalen Rose presents Chino Hills’ Lonzo Ball with SCPL Male Athlete of the Year



Regarded as one of the best high school basketball players in the country, Ball led his Chino Hills Huskies to an undefeated season (35-0) while averaging 23.9 points, 11.3 rebounds, 11.5 assists, 5.1 steals and 2 blocks per game. The UCLA-bound point guard totalled 16 triple-doubles and capped off the season by winning the CIF Open Division State title.

Along with the 2016 SCPL Award for Male Athlete of the Year, Ball was named USA Today’s All-USA Basketball Player of the Year, MaxPreps National Basketball Player of the Year, and Naismith Boys High School Player of the Year.
