LA HABRA – Mission Viejo’s second-ranked football team encountered its first adversity of the young season Friday but delivered a resounding response against No. 9 La Habra.

Akili Arnold filled in for injured running back Jamari Ferrell by rushing for a career-high 152 yards and career-best three touchdowns to lead the Diablos to a 42-27 victory at La Habra High.
