Monrovia’s Isaiah Ramos voted 2016 SoCal Prep Legends Fan Vote Baseball Player of the Year

Tallying a total of 1,201 votes in just under a week, Monrovia’s Isaiah Ramos added to his baseball resume by being named the SCPL Fan Vote Baseball Player of the Year.

Earlier this year, Ramos was named the San Gabriel Valley Tribune’s player of the year after he won eight games this season and posted a 1.03 ERA. Ramos pitched three complete games, including two shutouts and a no-hitter against Arcadia. Ramos won five league starts and was MVP. He also garnered All-CIF-Southern Section Division 5 honors. Ramos will play at Rio Hondo College next season.
