SACRAMENTO – Woodside Priory’s Ila Lane made a 3-pointer at the top of the key to tie the score with less than 30 seconds left. It was her first 3-point attempt of the year.

As if it were the opening minutes of the game, Rolling Hills Prep sophomore guard Naya Stroud responded seconds later with a deep two-point shot, seemingly unfazed by the weight of the moment – the CIF State Division IV title on the line.

Stroud’s shot went straight through the net, giving the Huskies their first CIF State title with a 57-53 victory over Priory of Portola Valley at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento on Friday.
