Zoe Williams
La Canada

The forward helped lead the Spartans (12-1) to the championship of its own New Year’s Ball tournament, La Canada’s first title in the tourney in the nine years of the four-day event. She had nine points and nine rebounds in the championship game, a 69-41 victory over Arcadia and was named tournament MVP.

Ayanna Clark
Long Beach Poly

Junior Ayanna “Yani” Clark led her team to the West Coast Jamboree championship. Clark earned MVP honors at the largest tournament in the nation thanks to a three-game average of a double-double, with at least 15 points and 13 rebounds in every game.

Zoe Hasenauer
Royal

Hasenauer earned Tournament MVP honors after powering Royal to the Los Tacos Tournament crown, including a hat trick in the final against West Ranch. It was her third hat trick of the season. Hasenauer now has 19 goals and eight assists on the season.

Angela Pisano
Mary Star of the Sea

Pisano led Mary Star to the Firebaugh Tournament title as she had 26 points and four steals in the championship game, a 49-22 win over L.A. Jordan.

Kayla Washington
Cajon

In winning the World International Invitational last week in Hawaii, Washington was named MVP. In four games, she averaged 27 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.3 steals and shooting 69 percent from the field.

Madelynn Gray
Redlands East Valley

Redlands East Valley won the Murrieta Valley Nighthawk Classic over the holiday break, thanks in large part to the play of Gray, who scored 17 points with seven steals in the championship over Murrieta Valley in a 57-53 win.
