Nick Lodolo

The 6-foot-6 left-hander helped the Spartans to a 4-0 Baseline League win over Rancho Cucamonga last week. He faced just one batter over the minimum, with two of the three htiters he faces earsed on double plays. Lodolo has signed with Texas Christian University.

Hans Crouse
Dana Hills

He pitched a no-hitter against Tesoro in a South Coast League game. The 6-foot-4 junior right-hander, who committed to USC, struck out 13 with one walk in the 5-0 win. He is 5-1 with a 0.65 ERA and 60 strikeouts in 43 innings. Crouse has two shutouts and one save.

RJ Lan
La Mirada

Cerritos was thought to be a threat to La Mirada in this year’s Suburban League race. But RJ Lan temporarily put that notion to rest with a monster day at the plate against the Dons. Lan, also a football standout, stroked two home runs as La Mirada posted a 12-0 win last Wednesday. Lan finished with seven RBIs and one of the homers was a grand slam.
