Cassius Stanley
Harvard-Westlake

Making his return from a concussion, Stanley recorded 22 points and nine rebounds in a 52-39 victory over Viewpoint to bring home the Southern California Regional Division IV title and advance to the CIF State Division IV final.

Adam Amanuel
St. Bernard

Amanuel shot a blistering 78 percent from the field while pouring in 28 points to lead St. Bernard to a CIF Southern California Division V Regional championship. The senior was 11-of-14, including a perfect 5-of-5 from 3-point range in St. Bernard’s 67-61 win over Rancho Christian.

Isaiah Ramos
Monrovia

Ramos has really lived up to his advanced billing as being Monrovia’s next ace. The senior tossed a no-hitter in his last game against Arcadia to lead the Wildcats to a 2-0 win. He needed only 80 pitches and struck out 12 while allowing one walk. Ramos has two wins and a save in five appearances.

Xolan Brown
Redlands High

Brown represented the Terriers well at the Beaumont Cougar Classic Invitational over the weekend, taking first place in the 800 meters. In addition to grabbing one of the two gold medals for the Terriers, Brown’s winning time of 1:57.43 also set the new course record for the Invitational.

Austen Awosika
Ayala

The 6-foot-4 guard has helped the Bulldogs to a pair of victories in the state portion of the playoffs. He registered 22 points in a 62-58 win over Oak Park in the CIF State Division III Regional final, then followed that up with 20 in a 63-54 regional final win over league rival Bonita at Colony High School, Ayala will face Manteca in Thursday’s state final in Sacramento.

Long Beach Poly

The University of Hawaii-commit scored 16 points this past week in a 56-39 win over Los Alamitos during the CIF State Division II Regional semifinals and then had 20 points, six rebounds, three assists and a steal in the Jackrabbits’ 61-54 victory over J.W. North in the regional championship game at the Walter Pyramid.
