El Camino Real’s Jordyn VanHook became the first player to launch a home run onto Valley Circle Blvd. with a monstrous 250-foot shot to left field for a tiebreaking two-run homer to beat Kennedy in the L.A. City quarterfinals.


El Camino Real’s Annie Moore rips an RBI double off the left-field wall to score Madi Gilmore to cap a 2-1 win over Banning in a 10-inning thriller to bring home the program’s 15th L.A. City Section crown.


Banning High softball freshman Gladys Garcia, from deep right field, throws out runner at home as catcher Topanga Zamora makes the tag to keep the game tied and send it into extra innings in the L.A. City Section Division I final.
