He scored five touchdowns in the Tartans’ 48-7 win over Laguna Beach. Cragun, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound receiver and safety, scored three touchdowns on pass receptions, scored a touchdown on a punt return and scored on an interception return. He had 10 receptions for 182 yards. For the season, Cragun has 36 receptions for 616 and seven touchdowns.
Baker ran for a season-high 276 yards and scored a career-best five touchdowns to help the Rams finish their nonleague schedule with a 50-14 victory over Arroyo Valley. Baker has rushed for 870 yards, topping the 100-yard mark in all five games. He has scored 15 touchdowns.
Wang may be young but he put up impressive numbers in Harvard-Westlake’s 54-31 win over Compton Dominguez. The quarterback threw for 379 yards and seven touchdowns with an interception and finished 15-of-19 passing. He also added 45 rushing yards to help the Wolverines improve to 5-0.
Babb scored the winning touchdown on a 90-yard hook-and-lateral to push Schurr to a 36-35 come-from-behind victory over Whittier. Babb had a complete game as well, scoring three touchdowns and finishing with with 133 receiving yards and 89 rushing yards.
Bernard had 23 carries for 224 yards and three touchdowns in Gahr’s 34-7 victory over St. Anthony. He had a 78-yard touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage as well and all three touchdowns came in the first half.
It was another big night for the Lawndale’s running back. Wilmore rushed for 200 yards and two touchdowns and also had 127 receiving yards and a 69-yard touchdown in Lawndale’s 35-26 victory over San Pedro.
The 6-foot, 245-pounder starts at defensive end and has been a big contributor on offense at times as well. In Friday’s 27-24 win over Ganesha he registered 14 tackles, three for a loss, as well as two sacks, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble. He also caught two passes for 26 yards. On the season he has recorded 27 tackles, including four sacks in helping the Cavaliers to a 3-1 start.
