Adrian McIntyre
McIntyre scored 67 points in his last two games for Saugus, including a 46-point performance in the Centurions’ 78-76 overtime win over West Ranch Friday night. McIntyre highlighted his Herculean effort with a game-tying 3-pointer as time expired to send the game into the extra frame.

Victor Ohia Obioha
Ohia Obioha led the way with 20 points and eight rebounds as the Trojans rolled to a 70-30 victory over La Sierra in a River Valley League opener. It was Hillcrest’s first win over the Eagles in seven tries. Ohia Obioha followed up with 28 points and 14 rebounds in a 91-38 win over Norte Vista.

Markus Raad
Bishop Montgomery
Raad, a senior, had a big week in a pair of Del Rey League wins for the Knights. He had a goal with two assists in a 3-1 win over Salesian and two goals with an assist in a 4-1 win over St. Genevieve. He has scored 14 goals with five assists this season for the Knights.

Rudy Suarez
Suarez scored 29 points in a a 58-56 win over San Dimas to end the Saints’ 20-game Valle Vista League winning streak. He also helped two days later in a 59-38 victory over rival Northview to help the Colts go to 12-8 overall and 2-0 in league. He is averaging 17 points, seven rebounds and five assists per game on the season.

Gerardo Hernandez
Capistrano Valley
He won the 182-pound division championship at the Five Counties tournament. Hernandez, a senior, defeated Robert Maiden of Stockton 10-3 in the final. He lost in last year’s Five Counties final by one point. “I was locked in for every match,” Hernandez said. “I was ready.” Hernandez is ranked No. 4 in California at 182 pounds by He is getting recruiting interest from Cal State Bakersfield and from some out-of-state Division 2 colleges.

Onyeka Okongwu
Chino Hills
The 6-foot-8, 205-pound center helped the Huskies to two wins last week. He scored 35 points and snagged 15 rebounds in a 70-64 win over Spartanburg Day (S.C.) at the HoopHall Classic in Springfield, Mass. Earlier in the week he helped Chino Hills to an upset of Damien with 30 points, eight rebounds and six blocks.
