Darius Brown II
Pasadena
In Pasadena’s must-win over crosstown rival Muir on Friday, Brown led all scorerswith 20 points and 12 assists in an 81-62 win that left the Bulldogs (13-6, 6-1) and Mustangs (14-6, 6-1) tied for first in the Pacific League.

Carl Lewis
Lynwood
Lewis had 53 points and 15 rebounds in the Knights’ 86-83 win over Dominguez on Friday. He also had 52 points and 12 rebounds in Lynwood’s 67-54 victory over Downey on Wednesday.

David Singleton
Bishop Montgomery
Singleton scored 32 points on 12 of 15 shooting to lead the Knights to a 79-62 win over Cathedral on Wednesday. Singleton scored 14 of his 32 points in the third quarter. Saturday, Singleton scored 22 points, with 10 rebounds, five assists and two blocks as the Knights defeated Westchester, 64-61.

Richard Zweifach
Paloma Valley
Zweifach scored 27 points as the Wildcats defeated crosstown rival Heritage 90-69 to go undefeated in the first round of Sunbelt League play. Zweifach, a 6-foot-2, forward also scored 17 points earlier in the week, helping Paloma Valley to a 79-48 victory over Perris.

Sedrick Altman
Colony
The 6-foot-3 guard helped the Titans go 4-0 last week, averaging 25 points, six rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks per game. Altman, a key member of last year’s CIF-SS title-winning team, had 23 points or more in each game, with a high of 27 in a nonleague win over Leuzinger. He has has score 20 or more points in 21 of the Titans’ 22 games this season. For the season he is averaging 23.6 points and 6.2 rebounds.

Riley Battin
Oak Park
Battin was the anchor to two Coastal Canyon victories this week to keep Oak Park unbeaten in league play, combining for 53 points and 22 rebounds in the contests. The 6-foot-10 Utah-commit scored 31 points and grabbed 13 rebounds against Moorpark (85-51) Wednesday, then had 22 points and nine rebounds in a two-point victory over Camarillo (69-67) Friday night.

Dylan Thoener
Beckman
He scored 60 points in wins against Woodbridge and Northwood. Thoener, a 6-4 junior guard, scored 38 points with nine rebounds in a 73-67 win over Woodbridge. He scored 22 with six rebounds in a 60-59 win over Northwood. Thoener, who has a 4.6 grade-point average, is averaging 21 points a game.
