Danny Pina
The Falcons’ shooter led his school to their first boys basketball championship in school history, scoring a game-high 32 points in a 75-65 victory over Da Vinci Design Academy to win the CIF Southern Section Division 5A title at Colony High School.

El Camino Real
The El Camino Real boys soccer team found itself starring down the barrel of a 2-0 deficit to Sotomayor on Saturday before Vallin scored three straight goals, including the game-winner with under two minutes left in the match.

Cleveland Belton
St. John Bosco
Belton became a two-time CIF State champion with a 3-2 victory over Clovis North’s Ryan Franco in the final of the 126-pound division.

Kaelen Allen
Allen, a senior, helped lead the Comets to the CIF L.A. City Section Open Division title Saturday, scoring 18 points and adding six rebounds, four steals and two blocks in the 63-53 win over Fairfax.

Gum Majak
Crean Lutheran
He scored 13 points with game highs of 14 rebounds and six blocked shots in a 62-61 double-overtime win over Knight of Palmdale in the CIF-SS Division 3AA championship game.

Onyeka Okongwu
Chino Hills
Okongwu continued his dominance in the paint this season with 38 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks to lead the Huskies to a 72-56 win over Pasadena in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 championship game.

Jesse Vasquez
Vasquez defeated Gilroy’s Alex Felix 10-0 to win the 132-pound title at the CIF State championship meet in Bakersfield.
