Megan Lund
Flintridge Sacred Heart
The cousin of last year’s Daily News Player of the Year Kayla Lund, Megan Lund is making her own name. She was named to the All-Tournament Team of the Hudl SoCal Invitational in San Diego as FSHA won the Division 2 Ultra Bracket. Lund had 57 kills, 38 digs and 12 aces in seven games. She also had 20 kills and 12 digs in a four-set win over Alemany and 18 kills and 10 digs to help the Tologs top Louisville in five sets.

Meg Yoshida
Palos Verdes
Yoshida shot an even par 35 Thursday to lead the Sea Kings to the 197-275 victory over North Torrance to clinch the Ocean League title. Yoshida has shot even par in home matches against Redondo and North Torrance and under par against Santa Monica, Redondo and Mira Costa. She leads the Ocean League with a 35.19 average.

Ashley Ahn
Troy
She had six aces and 37 kills as the Warriors defeated La Habra in a crucial Freeway League match. The senior libero is averaging four aces and 30 digs a match. Troy had lost to La Habra in their first league match last month, and had lost to La Habra in a tournament in September. Troy was 5-1 in league going into a match against Buena Park on Monday, Oct. 16.

Sydney Tran
Norte Vista
Tran swept her singles matches last week against Jurupa Valley and Hillcrest, helping the Braves improve to 12-0 overall on the season and 8-0 in the River Valley League. Tran is unbeaten this season with an overall record of 34-0.

Bria Augustine
Mayfair
Augustine had 27 kills in Mayfair’s five set victory over Cerritos on October 10. The win kept Mayfair in first place in the Suburban League.

Jacqueline Duarte
Chino Hills
The Huskies standout was third overall in the three-mile girls sweepstakes race at the Baker’s Inland Empire Challenge on Saturday at Glen Helen Regional Park, covering the course in 17 minutes, 52 seconds. There were 72 entrants in the race, and Duarte’s finish helped the Huskies get third place in the 11-team field.
