Rachel Glen
Glen won the high jump with a jump of 5 feet, 11 inches at the California Relays on Saturday. Glen’s clearance gave her the top jump in the nation this season. Glen also won the large school 400 meters with a time of 56.93.

Chelsea Daye
Daye claimed a pair of titles at the California Relays at El Camino College in Torrance, winning the 200 (24.91 seconds) and the long jump (18 feet, 10.25 inches). Daye, who transferred from Rancho Cucamonga, also finished third in the 300 hurdles (46.37).

Kimberly Lima
Rancho Verde
Lima claimed the 1,600-meter varsity championship at the California Relays at El Camino College in Torrance, winning in a personal-best time of 5 minutes, 24 seconds. Lima also finished third in the 3,200 varsity race with a time of 11 minutes, 38 seconds.

Paige Vargas
Santa Margarita
The North Dakota State-bound pitcher earned three victories and one save with a 1.22 ERA and batted .428 with three RBI to lead Eagles (10-0) to the title at the Northwood tournament. Vargas, selected the tournament MVP, also had a game-winning hit against Mission Viejo in the bottom of the seventh in the semifinals.

Mailee Newman
West Torrance
Newman, a senior pitcher and first baseman, posted a 4-1 record, allowed just two earned runs in 22 innings (0.64 ERA), struck out 14 and  allowed only 10 hits. The loss was to Agoura 1-0 in the quarterfinals of the Torrance TNT Tournament. She pitched a two-hit shutout against Palo Verde and came back later in the day and tossed three innings in relief against Centennial. Newman also had a double and drove in four runs.

Savannah Pinedo
Pinedo, a University of Chicago commit, hit a walk-off two RBI double, scoring the tying and winning run, during an (international tie break) inning against Kennedy (Granada Hills) to give the Warriors a 6-5 victory this past Saturday.
