Ariyonna Augustine
Long Beach Poly
Augustine won the 100 meters at the Arcadia Invitational on Saturday. Her time of 11.56 is the fastest in California this year and third fastest in the nation. Augustine, who has signed with LSU, is the defending state champion in the 100 and 200.

Ava Justman
Justman has been the epitome of an “ace” for the Chancellors. The sophomore pitcher went 3-0 last week with wins over Granada Hills 5-2, El Camino Real 1-0, and San Fernando 5-0. In those three starts, Justman had 21 strikeouts and allowed just two runs.

Brianna Santos
Los Altos
The senior was a key role in the Conquerors defeating Mater Dei 7-4 to win the Alan Dugard Tournament on Saturday in Irvine. Santos went 3 for 4 in the championship game against Mater Dei while driving in three runs. It culminated a solid week at the tournament as she batted .562 while driving in nine runs.

Ciara Briggs
Orange Lutheran
The center fielder earned the MVP award at the prestigious Michelle Carew Classic by batting .692 to help lead the Lancers to a runner-up finish. Briggs went 9 for 13 with three doubles, three RBIs, four walks and scored seven runs.

Eve Harvey
Redlands East Valley
Harvey scattered five hits and struck out four as the Wildcats knocked off Yucaipa 7-0 to remain undefeated in the Citrus Belt League. She improved to 8-2 in the circle and registered her second shutout of the season. Harvey also helped her own cause by hitting a solo home run.

Jazmyne Frost
Frost posted a time of 24:41 to finish third in the invitational division 200 meters at the Arcadia Invitational. She also anchored Serra’s 4×100 relay team to a fifth-place finish with a time of 46.70 and the 4×400 relay team to a fourth-place finish with a time of 3:48.98. Both relay teams are among the best in the state.

Julia Shephard
Shephard went the distance in the circle and hit a two-run home run to lead the Cougars to a 7-0 victory over Valley View. Shephard also earned a win against Serrano as she allowed two earned runs and struck out eight in five innings.
