Lenihan helped Chadwick to a 3-0 start with a sweep of Peninsula on Wednesday, and a 3-1 victory over North Torrance on Friday. Lenihan had 12 kills to pace the Dolphins in a 25-13, 26-24, 25-18 win over Peninsula and had 23 kills in the 20-25, 25-22, 25-14, 25-10 win over North.
Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy
Lund, a Pittsburgh-commit, recorded 17 kills, 30 assists, 10 digs and four aces in a 21-25, 25-11, 25-13, 25-19, 25-18 nonleague victory at Valencia on Tuesday. On Thursday, she had 27 kills, 31 assists and 17 digs in a 32-30, 25-22, 19-25, 26-28, 15-10 nonleague victory at Claremont.
San Juan Hills
The junior outside hitter recorded 60 kills (kill perecentage of 40) during the first two days of the Dave Mohs Tournament as the Stallions reached the finals. Lukes also had 22 digs. She ranks as the top serve-receive passer for the Stallions with a rating of 2.4 on a 3-point scale.
The setter racked up 53 assists Thursday in a five-set victory over Santiago. Nunley had 19 of those assists in the third set, when she guided the offense to a .552 attacking percentage in that frame. Vista won the match, 25-19, 22-25, 25-17, 23-25, 15-12.
Against REV, Fisher had 11 kills in 21 attempts with only one error for a .476 hitting percentage along with two aces, three blocks and four digs. In 10 sets over five matches at the Mohs Tournament, she managed 29 kills, 11 blocks, and three aces. She and teammate Natalie Hadder were named to the all-tournament team.
The 6-foot outside hitter has helped the Knights to a 5-0 start, which includes 3-0 sweeps last week of Ontario and Arrowhead Christian. She registered 14 kills in the win over the Jaguars and added 15 kills and five aces in the victory over the Eagles. She now has 92 kills in five matches (18 sets) for an average of 5.1 kills per set. Her season best so far was 29 kills in 3-1 win over Upland.
