What we learned from last week’s baseball tournaments

This is a catch-your-breath week for a lot of Southern California’s high school baseball teams after they were tested physically, mentally and emotionally during last week’s nonstop tournament action.

For the most part, this week will be about normal routines and playing league games.

It is also a good time to review what happened last week, from the stunning surprises to the impressive performances, and there were plenty of both across Southern California.
